Overview
BarTender Track & Trace enables real-time, end-to-end supply chain visibility by embedding per-item logistics event logging directly into warehouse execution workflows. Each asset interaction is captured at the point of operation and synchronized with a centralized system, ensuring accurate, up-to-date traceability across the supply chain. The web console provides warehouse managers with role-based access to supply chain data through a streamlined, high-performance interface, enabling rapid querying, visualization, and analysis of operational metrics and inventory status.
This article will provide a guide on how to use the Track & Trace web console to view inbound and outbound item flows.

Inbound and Outbound Tracking
When you want to oversee asset movements within your supply chain, you can do so in the web console.
Inbound Tracking (Receiving)
The Receiving Dashboard displays detailed information on received and pending orders and assets, including the number of orders older than seven days, average progress, and average accuracy.
- Select Act > Analytics > Receiving Dashboard.
- On the Receiving Dashboard, click the Add Filters button to select which filters should appear at the top of the page. This will allow you to specify your criteria and further narrow search results.
- You can also select a date range by clicking on the Date dropdown in the upper right corner.
- Review the information in the upper portion of the page:
- Pending Receiving: The upper portion of this section displays the pending orders and assets over seven days. The lower portion displays the order and assets from the last seven days.
- Received Orders: Quantity of orders received over the period set in filters. Does not include the in-progress receiving orders.
- Received Items: Quantity of assets received over the period set in filters. Does not include the in-progress receiving orders.
- Average Progress: Average progress of the orders received over the period set in the filters. Does not include the in-progress receiving orders.
- Average Accuracy: Average accuracy of the orders received over the period set in the filters. Does not include the in-progress receiving orders.
- Hover the pointer over specific elements on the page to display more details about them.
Outbound Tracking (Shipping)
The Shipping Dashboard displays detailed information about shipped orders and assets, pending orders and assets, and the accuracy average.
- Select Act > Analytics > Shipping Dashboard.
- On the Shipping Dashboard page, click the Add Filters button to select which filters should appear at the top of the page. This will allow you to specify criteria to further narrow search results.
- You can also select a date range by clicking on the Date dropdown in the upper right corner.
- Review the information in the upper portion of the page:
- Pending Shipping: The upper portion of this section displays the pending orders and assets for the specified time period. The lower portion displays the orders and assets that have been outstanding for more than seven days.
- Shipped Orders: Quantity of orders shipped over the period set in filters.
- Shipped Items: Quantity of assets shipped over the period set in filters.
- Average Accuracy: Average accuracy of the orders shipped over the period set in filters.
- Hover the pointer over specific elements on the page to display more details about them.
