Keep Track of Inbound and Outbound Assets with Track & Trace
Overview
Inventory maintenance encompasses the accurate recording and reconciliation of all inbound and outbound shipment transactions. The Track & Trace mobile application supports this function by enabling the scanning and identification of assets at shipment receipt and dispatch, automatically capturing transaction data and synchronizing it with a centralized inventory management system. This data is then integrated across supply chain systems to provide a complete, traceable record of shipment flows and inventory movements end to end.
This article will provide a guide on how to use the Track & Trace mobile app to handle shipping and receiving workflows.

Information
Asset Check-In/Check-Out
When receiving or sending assets on-site you will need to log the physical asset to reflect this in your inventory data.
Check-In (Receiving)
The check-in process facilitates scanning and validation of incoming assets for inventory. It supports both order-based and blind receiving processes. This module specifically works with reference lists of the type of receiving and the tag, ensuring alignment with expected inventory data. Non-scope products are listed in the Unexpected category.
Make sure the RFID hand-held is connected to the application.
Tap Receive.
Select one of the orders assigned to the location or choose Blind Process if you are logging assets that do not correspond to any receiving order in your inventory data.
Press and hold the trigger on the RFID reader to start scanning assets.
Tap a product entry to view its details.
Release the trigger or tap Stop within the app to end the scanning process.
Tap Sync to validate the tag data. Exiting without syncing, will cause the data to be lost.
A confirmation message prompts you to select the reception status. You can set the session to:
In progress: reception logging should be resumed later.
Done: the reception logging process is finished.
Cancel: Abort the reception logging process without syncing to the cloud.
Check-Out (Shipping)
The Ship module allows you to count assets for shipment or transfer. Orders can be processed by scanning or entering a reference order, or by initiating a blind shipping process.
