How to Refresh the BarTender Print Gateway Token
Overview
When troubleshooting problems with the BarTender Print Gateway, it can be useful to refresh the token used to authenticate communication between the BarTender Print Gateway and BarTender Cloud.
This article will teach you how to do so.

Automatic Refresh
This is the preferred method for refreshing the Print Gateway token:
- Navigate to the BarTender Print Gateway configuration page at: http://127.0.0.1:5952/Settings.
- Delete BarTender Cloud Print Controller.
- Open BarTender Cloud and log in.
- Navigate to a label and select it to print.
- A new token will be created as the printer list is populated.
Manual Refresh
If the above method doesn't work, you can try manually refreshing the token:
- Stop the BarTender Print Gateway Service.
- Go to C:\ProgramData\Seagull\ClientPrint and delete UserAccessConfiguration.txt.
- Start the BarTender Print Gateway Service.
- Log in to BarTender Cloud and go to the Print Console. This action should repopulate the token.
Once this process is complete, you should see UserAccessConfiguration.txt in the Client Print folder again.
