What’s New
- Site Configuration Dashboard: Manual Data Refresh: The Site Configuration Dashboard now includes a manual refresh option for updating site and zone information on demand. The refresh updates location and zone lists, summary metrics, map data, and related navigation elements. This enhancement provides access to the latest configuration data without requiring the application to be reloaded.
- Track & Trace APIs: Location Configuration Management: Track & Trace APIs have been expanded to support the import and export of Location and Zone configurations. Configuration data can be validated before import to help identify potential issues before changes are applied. These capabilities support more efficient management of site configurations across deployments.
- Track & Trace Settings: Configuration History: Track & Trace Settings now includes configuration history for changes to Inventory, Lifecycle, and Master Data settings. This update also improves lifecycle validation and consistency between global lifecycle settings and individual site configurations. These enhancements provide greater visibility and control over configuration changes.
- Serialization API: GS1 Serial Number Generation: The Serialization API has been enhanced to support automatic serial number allocation and the generation of multiple GS1 identifier formats. This update also provides additional product context for supported identifier types. These enhancements support a broader range of serialization and traceability requirements.
- Mobile RFID Support: Zebra RFD40 Series: Support for Zebra RFD40 Series RFID readers has been added to Track & Trace mobile workflows. This enhancement expands compatibility with current Zebra RFID hardware across inventory and tracking operations and improves device connection reliability for daily use.
- Daily Wash Reporting: Usability Enhancements: For Mojix Retail customers, Daily Wash reporting has been enhanced to improve wash count accuracy and refine projections based on available historical data. The default reporting period for the EPCIS Event Metrics dashboard has also been updated. These changes provide more reliable metrics and greater consistency when reviewing wash activity.
Minor Fixes
- Mobile app displays inaccurate item information.
- BarTender Track & Trace Labeling icon may not appear in the Data Collector dashboard.
Known Issues
- Configuration descriptions may not display for selected configuration names.
- Pending configuration status may not be displayed for data collectors.
- Mapping responses do not include the last updated timestamp.
- Channel mapping deletion messages may display a zone ID instead of the location code.
- Mapping retrieval performance may be slower than expected.

BarTender Track & Trace® v12.4 introduces enhancements to site configuration, RFID connectivity, API integration, platform administration, and mobile device support. These updates improve operational visibility, expand integration capabilities, and simplify the management of Track & Trace environments.

What’s New
- Site Configuration Dashboard: Enhanced Site and Zone Management: The Site Configuration Dashboard has been enhanced with location and zone duplication, improved search and filtering, map tooltips, map update capabilities, grid-assisted positioning, and visual zone type indicators. These enhancements simplify location administration and improve the management of facility maps and operational zones.
- IoT Integration: Fixed Reader Connectivity and Data Collection: Fixed reader integration capabilities have been expanded to support item-level tag read processing and the association of reader activity with operational zones. These enhancements improve inventory visibility and location-aware tracking across RFID-enabled facilities.
- Track & Trace APIs: Inventory Snapshot and Location Data: Track & Trace APIs have been expanded to provide access to location, zone, map, inventory snapshot, and inventory analytics data. These enhancements support the synchronization of operational information with external business systems while maintaining consistency with platform inventory and site management.
- Track & Trace Settings: Lifecycle and Master Data Configuration: Track & Trace now includes enhanced Lifecycle and Master Data configuration capabilities. Organizations can manage lifecycle statuses, inventory availability rules, product identification preferences, GS1 settings, and category hierarchy labels through centralized administration pages. These enhancements improve consistency and governance across Track & Trace configurations.
- Mobile RFID Support: Honeywell IH45 Reader: Support for the Honeywell IH45 RFID reader has been added to mobile workflows. This enhancement expands compatibility with supported Honeywell mobile device configurations and enables RFID and barcode-based operational processes across supported environments.
Minor Fixes
- Pick transaction responses include quantity information.
Known Issues
- Long category hierarchy labels may overlap in dashboards.

This update adds configurable inventory window controls, grouped settings visibility, role-based access restrictions, and default inventory configuration management. These enhancements improve configuration consistency and provide greater administrative control across tenant environments.
- Global Site View: Map and Zone Management: The Global Site View introduces map-based location visualization and operational zone management for configured sites. This update adds interactive map navigation, configurable zone types, import and export capabilities for locations and zones, and enhanced search and filtering controls. These enhancements provide improved visibility into mapped operational environments and centralized site management.
- Inventory API: Public Inventory Snapshot and Analytics Access: The Inventory API has been expanded to provide external access to inventory snapshots and configurable inventory analytics aligned with Track & Trace inventory calculations. This update supports broader reporting and integration scenarios through improved access to inventory data and expanded developer documentation. These enhancements improve consistency in inventory reporting across integrated enterprise systems.
Minor Fixes
- Unsupported date format was causing unexpected column order when generating Update Inventory output file.
- Out of sync cache was preventing product file upload when some product categories were deleted.
- CSV exporting uses a comma (,) delimiter and quoted values to improve Excel compatibility.
- Enhanced Product File error handling when CSV contains malformed quotes or special characters
Known Issues
- Zone type needs to be added for Migration tenant ytem (mojix-retail) to Track & Trace.
- Zone type needs to be added for Migration tenant Legacy to Track & Trace.
- Translations Alignments (En, Fr, It, Pt).
- China blocks Google APIs via the Great Firewall preventing correct functionality of Location dashboard.

What’s New
- Product Master Data Configuration Dashboard: The Product Master Data Dashboard expands product and category management with hierarchical category browsing, controlled category maintenance, improved import error visibility, and download capabilities for product and category data.
- Users Dashboard - Identity and Access Management: The Users Dashboard – Identity and Access Management MVP introduces role-based user management, KPI visibility, search, localization support, and improved handling of unsaved changes. The update provides a centralized workspace for managing users and monitoring access-related activity.
- Logistics API - Shipping Order: The Logistics API – Shipping Order capability expands outbound integration support by enabling shipping order creation, status tracking, updates, deletion, and shipped-versus-expected result analysis. This release also adds structured documentation and tutorials to support consistent integration across external systems.
Minor Fixes
- When Auto Update Inventory file generation is configured at Store level, items are not being marked as missing.
- Items marked as sellable_accesible are not being marked as missing after not being read during a cycle count.
- SKU quantities inconsistencies between Stock Dashboard and Inventory Operations report.
Known Issues
- Languages special characters are not allowed in category code for ADD/EDIT.
- Products with invalid GTIN are duplicated and one with invalid PID.
- It is not possible to view 1000 PIDs using the POST/logistics/asn endpoint.

Minor Fixes
This release includes a series of refinements that contribute to overall platform reliability and consistency:
- Lifecycle rules were incorrectly taking precedence over the “Not In Stock” setting when marking items as missing. An updated minor fix has been deployed in this release to fully resolve the issue.

What’s New
- Fast Receive: Multi-Select Master Order Filtering: Fast Receive now supports selecting multiple Master Orders within the receiving interface. This enhancement improves efficiency in high-volume receiving scenarios and helps reduce the risk of incorrect or partial receives when processing complex inbound shipments.
- Business Metrics – Inventory API v3.2: Enhanced Datetime Range Filtering: The Inventory Reads API has been updated to support ISO 8601–based datetime filtering using the
cycleCountDateTimedimension. Documentation has been updated to clarify supported parameters and usage patterns for more precise inventory analysis. - Track & Trace Homepage Enhancements: Picklist KPIs, Global Search, and Autocompletion: The Track & Trace homepage has been enhanced with improved global search, autocomplete behavior, clearer lifecycle visibility, refined data presentation, and visual updates. These changes reinforce the homepage as the primary operational entry point for day-to-day tracking activities.
- Tenant Management: Tenant Deletion Endpoint: A new internal tenant deletion capability has been introduced to automate the full tenant lifecycle removal process, including backup, cleanup, and validation steps. This enhancement reduces execution time and removes manual operational dependencies for platform administration.
Minor Fixes
- Improved handling of Inventory Discrepancy connection errors to prevent inconsistent data from appearing in Stock Dashboard.
- Updated database read strategy to prioritize primary data replica instead of secondary to improve data consistency when processing binary large objects.
- Faster Inventory Discrepancy and Stock-on-Hand processing to reduce peak-time spikes.
- When marking items as missing, lifecycle rules now take precedence over "Not In Stock" settings.
