  It sounds like the driver is not installed correctly. Are you using a Seagull driver and have you try sending a From Feed command directly to the printer from the PC (from the Tools tab in Printer Properties and the Action drop down menu). This will show if the printer is “talking” to the PC without using BarTender itself
