SQL - Custom Error Reporting

We would like to generate a report and/or email of certain errors so that we can proactively get alerted on BT issues.

Some history records indicate a problem above/beyond just a failed job. We want to send alerts if certain conditions arise in the lof file.

I'm starting to look at MessageLog and MessageStrings tables.

BarTender wont provide technical info on the SystemDB. Wondering if anybody else has a need or has done this.

  Not sure if this is what you are looking for , but if they are specific BarTender errors you can configure within Designer, from Administer>Application Message Setup to send emails when they are triggered:

  

  For Licence issues you can configure something similar in Administration Console>Licencing>Alert Setup
