Issues with Tapered Labels

Hello all, 

I have a tapered label that I am struggling to align an image onto. It's 2.625" at its widest end, however the narrower end is the one that runs over the printer sensors. I'm left with a narrow white line on the bottom of the wider side of the label, & I cannot find a way to nudge the image downwards slightly. Let me know if I can provide any other useful information.

  What printer are you using?

  Can the sensor be moved so it triggers off the widest part of the label?

  I'm using an Afinia L801 printer. Unfortunately no, the sensor is stationary at the left side of the printer. However, I've tried flipping the orientation of the media to have the widest part at the left & I still seem to run into the same issue.

  Have you tried adjusting the start of print position/vertical offsets as per page 28 of the printer manual?
