Printing to PDF creates a blank label

I'm unsure what to do here. 
When I print to a zebra printer, my label looks great but when i print to PDF the label is completely blank. What could be the issue here?
variables seem to be updating even though the loop counter never changes

Here is my trigger file
Copies,Label,Printer,Serial,NestingID,StartDate
1,Nest_C.btw,PDF,2024042920042000000000,J17615_1,04/11/2024
1,Nest_C.btw,PDF,2024042920042000000000,J17615_2,04/12/2024

  hmm. Well I'm getting closer to the issue. This label btw was created in 2016, if I add a new field to this btw then it will print to pdf but the already created fields do not.

  I wonder if it could be a font issue perhaps. Are you using device fonts on your label rather than a True Type font?
