Not Able To Printout Labels Tp Pdfcreator
Hi guys,
we have batender with commander.
we use it to print out the labels to a thermal printer wich works fine!
now we want to print to a pdf to share with our vendors for aproval.
i use pdfcreator it can make automaticly a pdf file.
i have the problems that the labels are setup for thermal printers so it give the error page settings fault.
i get the error 3703 and 3707 and a dialogue box for auto adjustment.
i was able to surpress this error when i go in bartender to the menu administer and then application message setup.
i tell bartender to do the auto adjestment without giving the dialogue box.
however when i test the full flow of dropping a file and commader picks it up it doesnt work pdf creater doesnt make a new pdf.
is this a bug in bartender ?

There could be a number of reasons why it's not working as expected. I suggest you try testing BarTender manually for creating the PDF to see if it works outside of the Commander context. There a lot of users out there that implement Commander with PDF Creator, so we know that all being well this is a perfectly valid solution. You just need to fault find the issue. Another approach to testing is to switch Commander into application mode (not service), and then from the "Detection" menu set to show all running BarTenders. When the detected trigger produces a print command in BarTender, you'll be better able to see what is going wrong inside the BarTender process in order to fix it. We'd need to see the task list file, BarTender document, and trigger file to give any specific guidance.
