Scanning A Data Matrix Code With A #

Hi, I have to use the # symbol within my 2D data matrix codes, when scanned it converts it a £ symbol, can anyone help please.

  You will need to review the user's manual for your scanner.  You have some sort of translation or impersonation enabled so that the scanning software converts the # to a £.  The # character is a supported character in Data Matrix, you just need to configure your scanner to appropriately read it.

  You need to change the codepage in use by your barcode scanner.  Like Mike say's, consult the user manual on how to configure it correctly.
