Change Control On Data Entry Form By Selection In Drop Down

Hello.

 

I'm using the Professional edition of BT.

 

I have a data entry form with a drop down box that pulls its list from a database (like the Fruit Selection.btw example elsewhere here).  Now, I would like to pull another value from a database when that drop down box selection is made which will populate the default value in a number input box immediately below the drop down control.  The user can then override the value in the number input box if they wish, before proceeding with the print job.  (Note: The quantity in the number input box is not a number of labels - it has only to do with the number of items in the box that the label will be applied to.)

 

Is that possible?

  So you want the selection of one input form control to affect the content of another form control elsewhere.  Unfortunately this is not currently  possible.  To get this functionality you'll need to create such a data entry form using something like VB.NET or C#.NET, and control BarTender via automation for printing.  This of course would also require the Automation edition at minimum.
