Barcode 128 With Only 3 Character Spaces

Trying to enter initials PV and have it do a carriage return.  The area for the bar code to scan is only 3 spaces. In a normal day I may hit PV and enter over 300 times at work.  PV~13 will not work because of the restrictions of only 3 characters allowed.  Any ideas how to get around this? The PV~13 seems to be the shortest length accepted.  I used a bar code generator on a website and set on default modular width and 96 dpi to get the above to scan elsewhere in the software.

  The carriage return control code is only available in code set A of the Code 128 symbology.  You can insert the <CR> value into your data source by clicking the insert symbol button to the right of the embedded data input space.  The <CR> control code is a single data character so will fit in your three character limit.
