Sequence Numbers - How To

Hello,

 

I need to set up a sequence coding for my labels

 

The coding will be 3 characters long and will be made by using numbers from 1 - 9 & characters from A - Z.

 

It will begin with 111 then the next label will be 112 etc etc.

 

When it reaches 119 the next label will become 11A.

 

Can someone give me guidelines on how to create this in Bartender automation 10 please?

  You will need to serialize this data source by using "Alphanumeric (Base 36)" serialization. Do this by opening the properties for your object, choose the appropriate data source on the left node, now choose the "Transforms" tab and click on "Serialization". As the type of serialization choose "Alphanumeric (Base 36)".

   

  Also, make sure to define the total number of serialized copies to be printed via the "File > Print" dialog.
