Prompted Multiple Times

Hi

 

I have a bar code connected to an SQL view. The label prompts for a Sales order and should then print, say, 15 bar codes. 1 for each product line on the order. However, i get prompted 15 times (for each product) which is frustrating. I would just like one prompt.

 

I am very new to BT (2 days) so go easy. Am i missing something here?

  What happened here is that when you configured your Data Entry form, you set the frequency to 'Every Record' instead of 'Once at Start of Print Job'.  You'll need to go into the options on the object that you've got prompted and just change that, and it'll only occur once at the beginning of the job instead of everytime it pulls a record from the database.

   

  To do that, double-click on the object that has the prompt, select 'transforms' then 'data entry control', then change the pulldown under 'frequency'.
