Changing Printers
Hello All,
I simply need to change out one of the printers that was set up with Bartender originally. I have not been able to find anything specific enough in the help file to answer my question. Will I run into licensing issues if the printer has already been registered up to my 3 maximum printers? Or does Bartender just keep track of real time printer connections to it instead of the total number registered?
Thanks,
Jeff

Short Answer: You'll probably be fine if you simply replace one printer with another.
Long answer: Read this document for details on how Seagull's licensing works: http://s3.amazonaws.com/SeagullBarTender/ftp/WhitePapers/WhitePaper_LicensingForBarTendersAutomationEditions_English.pdf0 -
Hi,
for such an issue i simply stop and restart the seagull licensing management software that rebuilds the printers list from scratch when restarted.
(My release is 8.01)
