Image Properties For Embedded Picture

I am attempting to print an image of a static label onto a blank label to cut down on the cost of pre-printed labels.

 

I am using the Intermec Easycoder PM4i (203 dpi) printer and Bartender 9.4 SR3

 

I can not get the image to print clear enough for our purposes. The words in the image look spotted. I have tried different size and dpi (72, 96, 203, 300) settings and different files types (jpeg, tiff, bmp) It all prints out the same.

 

Any thoughts as to how I can get the image to print out cleanly.

  Open the BarTender Print dialog, click the "Document Properties" button, in the driver dialog that opens select the "Graphics" tab, and experiment using different dithering methods until you get optimal results.  Note that thermal printers are not known for their graphical rendering capabilities, they specialize in barcodes after all,  so don't expect something like inkjet or laser quality.
