Can't Print With Win 7

We have a Automated Packaging Autobag machine with a PI 412c Imprinter and we use a windows XP PC and some custume VB6 software to print text and barcodes on bags. We have to upgrade our PC to windows 7 but when we try to print bags all that prints is the DPL code itself. The XP PC uses the 7.0.2 driver and thats the only one that will work. On the win 7 PC I have tried driver versions 7.0.6, 7.1.9 and the newest 7.4 with no luck. The software that came with the bagger prints ok. Any idea what the problem might be?

  Seems like the VB app on the XP installation was using the printer driver in a pass through mode, rather than properly in a true printer driver mode.  In other words, the VB app already had the DPL code generated and embedded into the application, and it was just using the driver as a port as a means of getting it to the printer.  In the latest driver this feature can be enabled via the driver's "Page Setup" tab, click "Advanced Options", and then the "Passthrough" tab in the dialog that opens.
