What Version Of Oracle Client To Use For Bartender 10.1 Sr1?

Trying oracle database connections setup and getting an error that indicates wrong version of the oracle client. What does BarTender version 10.1 SR1 require?

I am able to successfully ping the instance so it seems it could only be an issue of 32 bit or 64 bit oracle client?

  Try the latest BarTender Service Release (10.1SR3 at the moment). BarTender 10.1 is 32bit application, therefore you need to install 32bit Oracle OLEDB driver.

  Try you can connect to Oracle from other apps like MS Access / Excel using OLEDB or ODBC.
