Same Physical Printer But Different Printing Methods
We have a Zebra printer Z4Mplus 300dpi which is located at a site. The Bartender server is in a hosted environment with Citrix servers being used for the client connections to the application.
The Zebra printer is defined as an Internet Printer on the Bartender server so that Commander can send the labels to the printer on site.
The local users also want to perform ad-hoc or non-Commander label printing so the Bartender client is installed on the Citrix desktops.
We have installed the SLS Remote Assistant on the site pc's then added the Zebra printer as a local print server printer i.e. Windows printer not Internet Printer.
Therefore we have 1 physical printer which could be printed to as an Internet Printer or as a standard Windows printer.
What needs to be done to ensure that the same physical printer is not added twice to the License Server?

In this case there's no way around it. The three criteria for a printer in License Server are printer type, printer port, and location. Since the port and location will be different, it will be considered two separate printers.

So if we were to add the Internet printer on the either the remote pc or the Citrix server then this will not use another license as it will have the same printer type, printer port & location as the printer defined on the Bartender server i.e. Internet printer?
