BarTender 2016 R9 on Windows 11Pro

I will be swapping PC to a Windows 11 Pro and my user has BarTender 2019 R9 installed. I've read that Pre-2019 editions of BarTender have compatibility issues with Windows 11. 

Is this true? Is there anything I need to consider before swapping pcs?

  I would suggest updating to the latest version. 2016 and 2019, whichever one it is, is no longer supported and could be at risk to security breaches as updates are no longer being produced. 

  In practice it may still work correctly, but there is no guarantee of that and you could get random issues or it could stop completely with later Windows updates etc.
