Same Named Data Source affecting both objects when format is changed

Hello,

I am using BarTender Designer 2022 and I have the following problem:

I have one Named Data Source used in two different objects on the same label:
1. A barcode object - needs the date formatted as 'yyMMdd' (e.g. '280301')
2. A text object - needs the same date formatted as 'MM/yyyy' (e.g. '03/2028')

The core problem is: when I change the date format on one object, it automatically affects the other object as well - because both share the same Named Data Source. So I cannot set different formats on each object independently.

What is the correct way in BarTender to use the same Named Data Source on two objects but display it in a different format on each one, without them affecting each other?

  Rather than link them by name, make the string in the barcode and Object Linked field linked to the text item
