activating old bartender licence on a newer pc

hi our work pc is running 9.4 from memory and i am having trouble with activation on a new pc mostly because that version is no longer supported . if i download a newer version of bartender and try activating with that product code will this still work ?

  Only if you have Maintenance in force which is probably unlikely. I am guessing you are trying to install 9.4 onto a more modern computer and it is just not compatible with it that version was last available 10 years ago. 

  It sounds you probably need to purchase a new licence and if you speak to Seagull's Sales team they should be able to put you in touch wiht a BarTender partner/reseller who can help you with this.

  Thanks for your post.

  Unfortunately, you are running an unsupported version of BarTender, and if you want to activate a newer version, you need to have active maintenance on your license. I would recommend that you reach out to our sales team, so you can discuss the option with them :)
