Can I set a default tool so that Data Edit is always activated upon opening BarTender, instead of Select tool?

Can I set a default tool so that Data Edit is always activated upon opening BarTender, instead of Select tool?

I want to automatically be in Data Edit mode (Cursor icon) each time I open BarTender and/or begin a new document.

Possible? I have tried searching!

  I dont believe so. I have had a look in the Actions interface and couldnt see anything for this
