Saving Serial Data to MS Access after printing

I have an Access 2016 database linked to my file print. Example Table is called MASTER and this is what table looks like

PartNum       BoxNum

1234                            1

5678                            1

I have everything linked to access but it won't remember last box number i left off on for the next print. I have no idea how to use VB but want to write the next box number back to access so it always picks up right where it left off at.

 

Can anyone help?

  Hi Andrew,

  Not sure how to write out to an Access Database but I know you can use the Write commands in VB to add data into a text/CSV file.

  Pete,

  I do not know how to write VB code to accomplish this. I was hoping someone could write a sample code that I could use to accomplish this task.
