Hi

I have successfully connected an excel database which has two fields (Part Number,Description).

Part Number	Description
511-0	STD CTN SHEET 4 R
513-05	47 REV1 EUPPW

I use a data entry form to enter the Part Number. How can I make the Description text box automatically update accordingly?

  Once you have linked the label to the database you should see the field names in the Data Sources list and you could drag those onto the label if you just one a fll text field to use the data.

  

   

  Alternatively, add a text or barcode object onto the label and from the Data Source tab set the Type to Database and when the Field prompt appears chose which database field has your data in it
