I am using BarTender 2016 and see in the help file for "Printing Label Formats to a File" a reference to <BarTender Install Location>\SDK\Assemblies\BarTenderPrintClient.dll>. 

Attached is a screenshot of that folder from a new Enterprise Automation installation. 

 

Please advise.

  As you pointed, BarTender 2016 no longer relies on BarTenderPrintClient.dll ActiveX component.

  Sorry for misleading in the help document, as current SDK document for Print Server SDK is obsolete and needed to be updated.

  (Developments are working on that.)

   

  BarTender 2016 uses BarTender Web Print Service(for Windows client) or Java Applet (for other OSs) as Client Printing Module.

  Print Portal (previously called Web Print Server) uses that,

  and new WebLabelPrint sample below demonstrates usage.

  However new APIs used in the sample have not been documented yet - that should be addressed in incoming service release of BarTender 2016.
