Seagull.bartender.print Dll Import Cause Long Time To Run
Hi All,
I have installed Bar Tender Automation Edition 10.0 on two different computer.
One has Windows 7 and Bar Tender without Seagull License Server, the other Windows xp sp3 and Bar Tender and License Server.
The two copy has regular license and the server has been activated. I have also a simple vb.net application running on pc with Windows 7
that open a document label and print.
To make this I am using "seagull.bartender.print" DLL referenced in the .NET project.
The problem I have is that when I run this project it needs a lot of time to start and I cannot understand why.
Please could you help me.

On the computer where both BarTender and Seagull License Server are installed, start BarTender, select the "Administer > Licensing Setup" dialog, now disable the "Automatically Find Seagull License Server" checkbox and write localhost as the preferred address. Try now to open a BarTender document and print it. How much time does it take?
After doing these changes, will your .NET SDK application still take lot of time to start? When you debug your application, for what exactly does it need the most time? For starting the BarTender engine(s), for opening a BarTender document, for printing?
Have you tried any of our .NET SDK samples, which you can access via "All Programs > BarTender v10.0 > BarTender .NET SDKs > Print SDK samples"? Do you have similar issues?
