Seagull Driver Wizard Can't Detect Printer Via Usb
Hello,
I'm trying to connect a TSC4503E to a Windows 8.1 PC. I chose the USB option and the magnifying glass just continuously spins looking for the printer
I have admin rights to the PC
I have tried a different USB port on the PC
I cycled the power on the printer while the driver installation was searching for the printer
I am testing latest version 7.3.6

I'm having this very often with the Seagull Installer Wizard recently. The printer is very clearly attached as Windows will recognize it but the Seagull Installer won't.
What I end up doing is letting Windows install the printer automatically, as it does with USB printers, and then I go to Advanced Properties and change the driver manually if I want to use a different one.

Are you sure that you have that model number down correctly. Looking at the list of TSC printers for the v7.3.6 driver I don't see a TSC-4503E printer listed. And as you're trying to install via Windows PnP none of our drivers will match up to the PnP ID that Windows exposes to the installer.
