Not Able To Connect To Oracle Database

I am facing an issue where I am not able to connect to an Oracle database from bartender enterprise automation tool. I am able to connect to that database using other DB tools ( like TOAD, SQL Plus etc. ). I am getting ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel" error. Though I double checked, the DB is reachable from other tools. Any pointers please ?
