Probably your best bet to ensure you get what you want is that each serialized label is printed/encoded one at a time in separate print jobs rather than altogether in a single print job of X number of labels.  As a test use Batch Maker to print the label with X number of repeats to see if a serial number gets dropped should there be multiple bad tags in a row.

    Hello Ian C,

    Thank you for your reply.

The problem is that I have printing jobs of thousands of labels to print. I am affraid I can't launch jobs of one label.

Do you see another way to make sure that a serial number is correcly printed/encoded even if there is multiple bad tags in a row?

I'm talking about using something like Batch maker, or programmatically generating separate print jobs of one label, the print operator would be making only the one request like usual.
