Problem Printing Labels
I am using BTv10.1 SR2 (Automation). Connecting to SQL2012. Printing using a Datamax M4210 with RFID reader. Using Print Station to print labels. (This is a new installation and new printers). I am using 96bit Gen2 inlays (FROG 3D). The printer was calibrated and found the inlay at the correct location.
I have the label setup, it is able to print. I drop the RFID encoder onto the document and either hard code data or pull data from the SQL table, but whenever I print, the printer gives me a "INVALID RFID DATA" on its display.
I suspect my data is either too short or too long for the encoder and it is keeping it from working. When going over the Datamax docs, I got the impression that it will left pad zeros as needed to fill the respective fields on the inlay. I have the Data Type set to HEX under data format for the encoder. Have the Segment set to USER. Hex Data type is set to TEXT (though that seems kinda odd).
I enabled the logs, but they simply say that the label was printed and not what the status was. Is there something else I can do to try and debug this issue?

You can start by creating a simple BarTender document with just 1 RFID encoder on it. Use "Embedded Data" as the source for the RFID tag. If you're wishing to encode a valid EPC number, use EPC for the segment. Otherwise, you would be choosing "User" segment.
You would only choose "Hexadecimal" as the "Data type" if the data you're supplying (in this case the embedded data) is really in Hexadecimal type. If it's normal text you're trying to encode then please choose "Text" as the data type.
If it still fails, please attach the BarTender document to this topic (use the "More Reply Options" button for this) and attach the specifications for the Frog 3D tag type you're using.
