Consolidating Servers

I support label printers at multiple sites, each running a license server locally on the machine that BarTender is running on. This setup is very labor intensive and subjects us to registration key issues if the computers crash. I would like to consolidate the various licenses into a single license server and then redirect the various BarTender installations so the new server. How do I go about the consolidation of the licenses? Is it possible to register multiple licenses on the same server?

  No, it is not possible to install / activate multiple Seagull License Server instances on the same server. If your different sites are network connected (WAN), you will be able to centrally install one instance of Seagull License Server and have the different BarTender PC's connect to this computer. However, this would require you to purchase a license which is licensed for the total number of printers you're going to print to from BarTender from all locations. You will need to get in contact with your BT reseller or with our sales department at Seagull Scientific.
