Setting Licens Server With A Silent Install

Hi

 

I need to silently install BT9.4 on Windows 7.

So far we have succeded.

 

But I need to set the Licens server to a specific server and I don't want BT to search for a licens server.

 

I have changed a setting in the registry.

This looks as if it works, but BT still searches for a Licens server which fails.

 

Please help me delopy this software.

  You want to auto configure the direct IP/host that BarTender looks for when connecting to License Server.  Modify the btlm.ini file found under the "C:\ProgramData\Seagull\BarTender" folder.  This is a self-explanatory text file which you'll find easy to edit.  Then setup a script to replace the existing file with this modified version.

  I have no btlm.ini file om my XP nor my W7 installation of BT9.4

  The file should be there.  If not then use the attached one instead renaming the extension to .ini.

  I found it hiding for me. I can not access it on my W7, some one with the right credentials will have to go fix for me.
