Guard Bar Different in Preview vs Printing

I am trying to print a UPC-A barcode without any guard bars showing on a few different labels. I have set the guard bar size to 0 inches in the barcode properties window, and no guard bar shows in the preview or when I print to PDF.

When I try to print a physical printer, the label prints with a bar guard. We have tested with two different printers and get the same bar guards.

I'm printing these labels over the network using Bartender's Integrations.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

  I was able to find a solution to the problem. First, I had to set the printer to a physical printer. Then I had to go into barcode properties -> "Symbology and Size" and set the print method to "Barcodes and human readable text controlled by BarTender." This fixed the issue.
