File DSN connection not working when moving BarTender file between computers

I can setup a connection using ODBC file DSN but when I open the label on another computer using the same file DSN I get an "Invalid file dsn" error. S1000: General error, Data Source Error: 556. If I remove the data source and re-add it, it works but this annoying to do when the file can be used on multiple different computers. I've tried using windows authentication and SQL authentication with the same results. Using BarTender version 10.1.  It works on some computers but not others, any ideas?

  I learned that the .dsn directory must be exactly the same on both machines. This must be a bug in the BarTender software, other software generally works from the "Set Directory"
