Error 3239 when querying includes Text

I get an Error MEssage #3239, Idispatch Error #3088 when querying a field PArt Number in my Excel file. IT works normally  when I just search for numbers, but I get an error anytime I input any Text (I.E. 1333468 is ok, 133468A gets an error)

 

I've tried formatting the field as Text, as General etc. copying to a new sheet. Same problem. It's saved as an XLS file 2003 version.

  You might need to put single quotes around query entry e.g. Query = 'Test'
