Text won't rotate

I just opened up my bar code file, and something is wrong with the text.  I need to have the text rotate 90 degrees, on both the bar code itself, and on a text field.  The barcode will rotate, but the text attached to it will not.

  You may want to check that the Human Readable is set to On and is not included as a Text object rather than part of the barcode object
