Certain labels lose connection to the database

I have a few labels that require database connections. Some appear disconnected. When I go through the Database Setup Wizard, it appears to complete correctly. However, when I go back into the label, it appears disconnected again.

  This is an odd issue; could you tell us what BarTender version, edition, and service release are you using?
  
  In the meantime, we could try to Create a named database connection; a named database connection may be able to be moved to prevent losing the connection info.
