Reprint console - persistent template

I often find as the weather changes that the quality of the prints in the factory can deteriorate, generally I resolve this by identifying the template that is being used and changing the templates values checking it prints correctly, then reprinting the label(s). 

I have noticed that the reprint console maintains the template that was originally used even if I have changed the file itself. I assume it's in the database somewhere.

My question - How do I force a reprint in the reprint console to use the newly saved template?

If this isn't possible what is the best way to replay the print using the newly saved template?

All of my printing uses the integration and XML files, I'd like to avoid dragging files about to get a reprint.

  My guess is as the weather gets colder you are having to increase the darkness/temperature in the printer settings to get round this. Rather than control this in BarTender save the label templates with the Use Current Printer Settings ticked and adjust this on the front panel instead as and when you need to
