Error "document Encryption Is Enabled, But No Encryption Keys Are Defined In Bartender Security Center

"Please disable encryption via Security Center or define one or more encryption keys.

 

First of all, I don't want anything encrypted.  We have to be able re-boot all the knowledge I've collected if I ever walk in front of a bread truck.

 

When i go to the BarTender Security Center I see one checkbox that says "Enable Security for this PC" and it's not checked.

  I'm not too sure what your complaint is.  By default the Security Centre is not enabled on a computer until you enable it.  Even then it is not encrypting anything, but rather controlling access to different aspects of the BarTender Suite using the Windows user and group permissions.  Encryption of BarTender documents is a further option that you may enable if you wish.  It's not mandatory though.  See the below white paper for more details: http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/whitepapers/Barcode-and-Label-System-Security(English).pdf
