Unable To View Labels Without Edit Permission

Hi, i've created a user group for read only/printing. I don't seem to be able to view any of the labels from bartender/print station from a client pc unless the group has "edit files" enabled in security centre for the librarian security settings.

 

The librarian can see the labels from the client pc, but bartender or print station cant. It does not list any errors, just says that no labels were found. Through bartender i can even see the folders i have published in the librarian.

 

Any assistance appreciated

  That's actually how it's intended to work.  If you want the user to just be able to open files without being able to edit them, you want to check 'open published files', check 'print published documents' under BarTender, and make sure that the labels are set as 'published' in Librarian so that they can print them.

  Great, i had not created a workflow in librarian therefore labels weren't set to "published"
