Choosing Data For Barcode Scanning

I am very new to Bartender, and would like to know if there is a way to change what appears in our LIMS software when the barcode is scanned. Currently if we try to use the barcode to scan in date and time analyzed, we get the sample ID, date, time and analyst that is logged in. I would appreciate any help that anyone has. Thank you!
