Inputting barcodes to database and printing at the same time

Hi,

Very new to BarTender and have what might be a very basic questions.

Can I use BarTender to scan barcodes to an excel database and print those same barcodes to a label in one operation?

I know BarTender cannot access a live Excel database, but perhaps there's a way using data entry forms to print the label first, then dump that data into the database?

  Checkout the Document Options from the File menu and the Actions tab as there is a way you can write data to a file from there. There is a similar method from the Actions options accessible from the Data Entry Forms too.
