Sql server express local to remote server without bartender enterprise edition
Hi Team,
We are using Infor Factory Track and currently bartender administration console is installed with SQLExpress local database. We want to move it to remote sql sever (enterprise edition) but when I tried to change database connection string then I am receiving below error as attached.
"Software edition only supports local database servers. The enterprise edition is required in order to use a remote database."
Kindly provide your help in this regard.

If you are definitely running the Enterprise Edition of BarTender then that should be possible, I would suggest you double check your licence is activated as Enterprise (Help>About screen in BarTender Designer will show this) and if it is Enterprise you may need to speak to Seagull's Tech Support team directly about this (Submit a Request button above)

A license for Bartender Enterprise is required to use an external SQL server. It seems that this license is not available. Which version is in use?
