Direct Protocol

I have downloaded the latest version of Bartender and want to export layout files to dpl files (Direct Protocol). Is this possible in Bartender and how do I proceed? We are considering switching to Bartender as our design software, but we actually want to save the files directly to the Printer as dpl files.

  Are you printing to Datamax O'Neill (now Honeywell) printers that use the Datamax Programming Language (DPL)? I

  f so then you would need to have the correct version of BarTender and can use the File>Export Printer Code Template to configure BarTender to output the labels in the correct programming language (not available for all makes/models or printers but DPL mentioned above is there)
