Automating Printing
Hi,
Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I am looking for some guidance. I recently picked up bartender for for zebra printer. Everything has been great. I got the automation pro version because I want to automate my printing. I am looking for some guidance on how to achieve my results
I run an online business using a volusion shopping cart. I receive the orders, then I have to manually go through and print labels for each product ordered.
My database is set up with the product number (same as the one on the order) then the label info.
My Thoughts:
I would like to be able to automate this by creating an API that will download the order information (Really just need a list of product numbers)
Then, I'm a little stuck. Is it best to use commander or the SDK. (I may need to hire someone to help with this so I want to make sure I am going about this the right way)
We are a small business, so even if there was a way for me to just give a csv list of the labels I need printed this would save me hours. (I am currently going from print -> select records -> and highlighting what I need printed)
Any guidance would be very appreciated.

I would definitely look into using Commander before hiring out complicated work. You can set commander up to scan a folder, and if you drop your .csv (or similar) file into the folder, you can tell commander to then use that file as the database for the label template you want printed.
