Print Variable Db Field Quantity From Each Template
Hi, Have been working with the Bartender trial version for a couple of weeks and have been able to do pretty much everything I set out to do except for getting the correct number of labels to print when both templates are active (Identical templates except for two fields: A barcode and pallet quantity that only prints if there happens to be a partial pallet on a receipt).
Separately, it looks at the "FullPalletLabels" field from my Access DB and prints the number of labels for one or more records depending on what I choose at print time. I can do the same with the partial pallet template where it looks at at the "PartialPalletLabels" if I make the other inactive (print: never).
When both are active It will print the same quantity of each regardless of whether or not the correct field is referenced.
I know it is something to do with conditional printing or the need for some If-Then statement. I've read every section about printing more than once and have looked through the forum too, but I'm lost at this point.
Any guidance would help.

Can anyone give me a little help on this? Once I get my sample concept to work I'll most likely be purchasing the software?

Hello lenc,
Note that when two templates are set to active or print they will both get printed for each copy, so you cannot unrelate each other with different number of copies for each.
What you could do instead is use a VB script to compare the two "number of copies value" corresponding to each template, use the higher one as the actual number of copies, and stop printing the template with the lower number of copies when that value is reached.
