Hi

 

If I was to upgrade to Automation would i still be able to send external  .XML files to Integration to LAN/TCP connected printers?

"(All Integration Builder features are available in the Enterprise Automation Edition. Integration Builder is also available in the Automation Edition without TCP, web services, XML/XSL transforms, and SAP/Oracle integration.)"

 

I'm slightly confused by "without TCP, web services, XML/XSL transforms"

  I assume you want to use the Integration Platform in BarTender 2016?  The Automation edition supports file triggers, and BTXML content.  However, if the content of your files are some other scheme of XML that you'd need to transform into BTXML via an XSL transform, then at that point you will need the Enterprise Automation edition.
