Bartender Service
I'm running Bartender 9.01 and I have a question about the Bartender service About 7 hours after the server is rebooted, which happens every night @ 3:00am, the bartender process begins consuming about 10-11% of the CPU. Does anyone know what causes this? Thanks.

As a guess, it might be that the daily maintenance of the system database is scheduled for that time. In BarTender, select the "Tools>System Database Setup" menu item and select the "Maintenance" tab. 0 -
I don't have the System Databsae configured so I'm assuming the maintenance wouldn't run. Once the bartender service starts consuming cpu, it continues to use 10-11% of the CPU until the server is restarted again. 0 -
Has BarTender or any of the other Suite applications been set-up to log either print jobs or application messages to the system database? Check via the "Administer>Log setup" menu item. It might be the case that this is enabled even though a system database hasn't been installed and configured. 0
