Bartender Crashing After Clicking "ok" On Database Connection Setup When Using Custom Sql
Hi all;
On a new or existing .btw file, if I create/edit the database connection in the Database Connection Setup dialog to use custom sql (with the "Use Custom SQL Statement" box checked on the SQL tab) and click "Ok", Bartender crashes and Windows takes over and restarts it, with the changes I made to the database connection being lost. If I just select one or more tables and don't use custom sql, I am able to click "Ok" and the changes are saved.
The existing .btw files I have all use custom sql, and if I go into the Database Connection Setup and make any changes (like changing the alias of the db) or no changes at all but leave the SQL tab as it is (with "Use Custom SQL Statement" checked, Bartender crashes when I click "Ok".
I've tried putting all object names in quotes in the custom sql in the same way that Bartender displays the query when not using custom sql, but Bartender still crashes when I click "Ok".
I am using Bartender 10.1 on Win7 Professional x64 SP1.

Are you using the latest service release for BarTender v10.1?

Hi, thanks for the reply =)
After running the web installer with the "Modify" option and accidentally removing the License Server then putting it back, the issue appears to be resolved. I can save a database connection with custom sql without crashing Bartender. Should've tried the update first. Thanks!
